The Parkway Subaru Battleship Half Marathon & GFL 10K | 5K will affect traffic and property access in downtown Wilmington, the Greenfield Lake area and around the Battleship North Carolina. Please allow extra travel time and follow posted detours and instructions from traffic personnel.

Race starts: Half Marathon and 10K at 6:45 a.m.; 5K at 6:55 a.m. Race course cutoff is 10:15 a.m. All times below are local.

Saturday setup closures — November 14

Beginning at noon:

• Water Street: Market Street to Princess Street.
• Princess Street: Front Street to Water Street.

The start/finish setup area is scheduled to remain closed until noon Sunday.

Sunday closures — beginning at 3:00 a.m.

The following road or lane closures are listed in the approved event notification. Where a reopening time is provided, it appears below.

• Water Street: Market Street to Chestnut Street — noon.
• Chestnut Street: Front Street to Water Street — 8:30 a.m.
• Market Street: Front Street to Water Street — 10:15 a.m.
• Front Street: Brunswick Street to Red Cross Street — 8:30 a.m.
• Nutt Street: Hanover Street to Red Cross Street — 8:30 a.m.
• Front Street: Ann Street to Orange Street — 10:15 a.m.
• Southbound Front Street: 3rd Street to Chestnut Street — 10:15 a.m.
• Hanover Street: Nutt Street to Front Street — 8:30 a.m.
• Red Cross Street: Water Street to Front Street — 8:30 a.m.

Additional Sunday road and lane closures

Also beginning at 3:00 a.m.:

• Northbound Front Street: Burnett Boulevard / Carolina Beach Road to Queen Street.
• Northbound Front Street: Market Street to Chestnut Street.
• Southbound Front Street: Market Street to Queen Street.
• Southbound exit ramp to Front Street from the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge / US 74/76.
• Front Street on-ramp to the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge / westbound US 74/76.
• Greenfield Street: Front Street to 2nd Street.
• Chestnut Street: 2nd Street to Front Street.
• 2nd Street: Chestnut Street to Market Street.
• Market Street: 2nd Street to Front Street.
• One lane of East Lakeshore Drive: 4th Street to Robinhood Road.

Race-course roads are scheduled to reopen by 10:15 a.m., with the downtown start/finish setup area remaining closed until noon as noted above. Actual access is controlled by traffic personnel and posted restrictions.

Delays, parking and property access

• Expect delays near the listed streets, intersections and bridge ramps while runners are on the course.
• Plan extra time for downtown travel, business deliveries, church services and trips near Greenfield Lake.
• Follow posted parking restrictions and detours. Do not move barricades or enter a closed road or coned race lane.
• Contact the organizer before race day if your home, business, driveway or parking access may be affected.
